Teaching Locations
Lessons are held at my North Oaks studio, with in-person instruction offered on Tuesdays.
In-person violin lessons are also available in Falcon Heights and Mounds View.
Online violin lessons are also available for students who prefer learning from home or need a structured virtual option.

Do students need to rent or buy a violin before starting lessons?
Most beginners start by renting a violin to ensure proper sizing and to avoid committing to an instrument too early. This helps students focus on learning comfortably from the start.
I’m happy to help students make the most of whatever instrument they have and guide them if something needs adjusting.
What should I look for when choosing a violin?
Beginners should use a properly sized instrument that is in good playing condition and produces a clear sound.
For children, correct sizing is especially important. For adults, a comfortable, well-set-up instrument is usually sufficient.
