Student Teaching Violin Lesson Videos

This is my beginning student playing Allegro by S. Suzuki.
This is my intermediate student playing Gavotte in g minor by J.S. Bach.
This is my advanced student learning the 1st page of the Kabalevsky Violin Concerto.  This student placed in GTCYS Symphony Orchestra, their highest orchestra as an 8th grader and has been my student for 9 1/2 years.

Student Violin Performances

The following videos are performances by a few of my students. The first performance is a duet in which I played the first violin part. As a violin teacher, it has been very rewarding for me to see the progress of my students as evidenced by my instruction. I hope you enjoy them.

I have enjoyed playing Beethoven’s “Spring” Sonata and the Paganini Violin Concerto, which is one of my favorite concertos. The “Spring” sonata and the Paganini Concerto are very melodious and I find it easy to be more expressive with melodic pieces.
